What to Expect From Lessons?
Lesson format
Lessons are one on one sessions in an interactive format.
Our learning process will cover a generic path to gain various guitar skills. Also, there is no strict program or direction that I apply to everyone, but my lessons are customized for each student individually. The most important objective is to keep your lessons fun and in the same time to make a constant progress in your playing.
I am a beginner, is it a good time to start?
My goal is to get you up to speed with playing actual songs and how to use and apply appropriate techniques in your playing. The next step is to extend your guitar vocabulary and style, improve your guitar techniques, learn theory, chords and scales, composition and improvisations.
What else can I learn, I'm advanced player?
Guitar playing is a life long learning process and there is always a lot of room for improvement and to challenge yourself. Many times we thing we know everything, but there are other situations where we struggle with our playing often without noticing.
Maybe, it's a good time to expand your advanced chord vocabulary, work on some new scales and finding the way how to apply them to different chord progressions, improve your tone, song writing and composition. How about different techniques like speed, vibrato, arpeggios, legato. If you are a rock or metal guitarist probably, it would be good to expand other genres like jazz to gain a broader view on both, your playing and music theory.

Expecting the Unexpected?
Personally, I care about your goals and satisfaction. In order to get a feeling how the lessons look like there is always an option to try free 45-minute trial lesson.
Is it possible to expect from your teacher to teach you any of the styles even if he is proven in blues, rock and classical music? In reality, it doesn't matter because he approaches the other styles with the same methodology and in the same practical way of learning the instrument.
I truly enjoyed watching 12-old student playing classical pieces that I thought her in only few months of the lessons as well as she continued to progress and deliver results in the following months.
On the other side, I was proud of teaching 16-years old hard rock, metal and advanced guitar techniques. That was the same student who started with me when he was 13 after leaving piano and had basic knowledge with guitar. In 3 years he sky rockets to very advanced playing and challenged myself to prepare extremely difficult material for him to expand his horizons even more. Also, his love for guitar brought him back to
Also, teaching students in their 50s and 60s is a real fun, especially due the fact that some of them just wiped the dust from their guitars, which have been sitting somewhere in a cold basement for years. Many of them start completely from scratch and in a month or two were able to play 5-10 very exciting songs. They usually have very strong musical knowledge gained by decades of listening to different music and also, they are really motivated, focused and self-driven. On of the students began just to learn few chords to play guitar for fun while enjoying cottage life, but in a year he learned how to play and sing almost 50 songs, and he continued to explore lessons and advance in next 5 years.
My message to everyone is that it's never too late! Starting lesson with myself or someone else it doesn't matter, but enjoying music, playing songs and sharing it with others does.

Weekly or Individual Lessons?
Sometimes it's really challenging to commit on coming for the lessons on weekly basis, but from the other side potentially, skipping the lessons brakes the progress that you made and practice routine as well.
Cancellation Policy - Musicians Are Humans
Yes, musicians are humans too and different part of our lives very often interferes with our guitar playing, music business and interests. Work, school, parents, hobbies, cottage life, weekends, relationships and million other things will prevent you to come for the lesson sometimes.
No worries, 24 hour notice should be good enough to reschedule your lesson. Email, text message or call work for me.

Location
I prefer having lessons my LOCATION in private studio just because of keeping the focus and avoid any other distractions that might happen during the lessons. If you are not able to come because you live in another part of the city, you are stuck in a busy traffic, huge winter storm or you don't have time for commuting, try simply SKYPE LESSONS, which are available too.
